Curiosity Creators (Grades 2-5)
Curiosity Creators is an in-depth, hands-on program designed for students in grades 2 through 5 (typically ages 7-10) who are ready to take a deeper dive into STEAM learning. Each afternoon, the program challenges students to think critically, collaborate, and bring bold ideas to life.
Weekly projects go beyond surface-level exploration, giving students the tools to code, build, design, and experiment with purpose. Activities may include:
Coding with Scratch and block-based programming tools such as 3D Tinkercad
Building and programming LEGO
Engineering design challenges using real-world problem-solving
Conducting science experiments that explore chemistry, physics, and biology
Exploring circuits, sensors, and the basics of electronics
Collaborative projects that combine art, design, and technology
Our teachers and assistant teachers provide school pick-up and create a smooth transition into the studio. Early dismissal days and parent-teacher conference weeks are also supported, giving families consistent coverage.
At the end of each quarter, Curiosity Creators hosts a showcase where students share their projects. Families celebrate the skills, creativity, and confidence their children have developed.
Curiosity Creators transforms afterschool hours into a place where older students can stretch their abilities, take risks with new technologies, and grow as innovators.
