Job Description:

The Site Assistant plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of STEMful’s educational studio, PlaySpace, and events. Working closely with the Site Manager and Event Assistant Manger, Programs Manager, and internal team, the Site Assistant helps maintain the high-quality standards that STEMful is known for. This role also supports special projects aimed at operational improvements and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in daily site operations, including the PlaySpace and educational programs
  • Support the Site Manager with special projects focused on operational enhancements
  • Support workshops, special events and occasional birthday parties
  • Ensure programs run smoothly, meeting established quality and safety standards
  • Interact with children and caregivers in a friendly, professional manner
  • Provide support to instructors and program leaders as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for all participants
  • Troubleshoot basic site issues and escalate concerns when necessary

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with children, or a strong interest in gaining hands-on experience in a classroom or educational setting
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Positive attitude with excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Comfortable engaging with children, caregivers, and team members
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and solving problems
  • Interest in STEM education is a plus

Additional information

Hours: 

Tue-Fri: 10:00am-6:00pm; Sat 9:00am-1:30 pm (Full Time)

Tue-Fri: 2:00pm-6:00pm; Sat 9:00am-1:30 pm  (Part Time)

Compensation: $20-22/hour

This is a permanent position beginning in March 2025. It can be a part-time or full time position.
